It’s quiet but powerful.
The quick release hose is a dream and the rewind feature is awesome.
The canister is easy to empty.
Washable filter. If you have cats or dogs and all the the fur that comes with them, you filters get nasty and you would love this washable feature.
The position of the on/off button is convenient as is the foot pedal to lower the vacuum.Easy to maneuver. It is not self-propelled, but it moves smoothly enough for you!
I like that you can push the vacuum under a table and the front end of the vacuum does not tip up.

The suction power is so strong that there is a strong gust of air shooting out the back.
The knob that adjusts the level of the vacuum can be hard to twist. The knob isn’t impossible to turn of course, but it’s not easy one handed.
The bagless feature is good but removing the contents of the canister can be messy. Be careful and do it outside, especially the first time!

The latest rage seems to be the LG Kompressor. It sure is a pretty nice vacuum if you’re prepared to spend upwards of $400.00. Then I see we have this Hoover and I hardly see any major differences between the two except that the UH70120 sells for under $100.00.

It sure is a nice feature on the Kompressor that it condenses dirt so you don’t have to empty nearly as often. That’s a convenience, but the Kompressor also has a belt you’re going to have to change and so does this Hoover. They both have HEPA filters, but you don’t have to replace the one on the Hoover. All you have to do is wash it.

I’ve had the luxury of using other people’s bagless vacuums before buying this one including the Dyson. It seems the most annoying thing about all of them from my perspective was getting off the dirt canister. This one was a charm primarily because of its location. It’s at the top of the unit so all you do is press a button and it will easily lift out without much effort.

There was one thing that did concern me about the vacuum. It’s the rewinding cord being housed in the vacuum. Most units house the cord externally and I kind of question how that will hold up with time. If that’s all I have to worry about, that’s good enough for the price. No more buying HEPA filters and dirt bags. Maybe a belt now and then, but for the overall price, this is most certainly a good value.
