I purchased this vacuum cleaner specifically for my sewing room so I could get in and out quickly. I did not want to deal with a cord or a massive vacuum cleaner in a room where furniture dominates in a tight space. This Hoover LINX cordless best stick vacuum is truly a marvel with picking up pet hair and other stuff on the carpeted floor. It has great suction and can be used both on bare and carpeted flooring. I also use it for quick pick ups around the dog’s bed area and for anything else where I don’t have to drag out the “big guns.” I am so very pleased. It does need emptying more frequently than bigger vacuums but that is offset by convenience of its use and its light weight.
