Saw rips and crosscuts very well in 3/4″ treated exterior ply, quarter-sawn douglas fir and pine. Edges were true with a reasonably smooth finish from the supplied blade. The sole plate is very sturdy, was square as received, and had good sight-line working from a waist-high bench. The separate accessory guide installed tightly, was square and worked well. Various adjustments were easy and tightened positively. Sawdust ejection not a problem.
